Back when I was little, my older brother showed me a game called Croc: Legend of the Gobbo's; this for me was the game that completely sparked my imagination. Seeing those castles and rolling green hills painted on the 2D skyboxes made me imagine all the characters and stories that could exist outside of the game itself.
A few years later, he showed me a game called Resident Evil 4 and I became completely obsessed. From the second I saw Leon walking into that village, I knew what I wanted to do with my future. I wanted to capture the magic that those games made me believe in.
For the past few years, I've been working to achieve just that. When you load up and play She's Leaving for the first time, I hope you feel the same I did all those years ago.

The first game i truly fell in love with was Shadow of the Colossus on the PS2. It was also the first game me and my dad played together from start to finish. I remember it invoking such a sense of wonder and mystery that captivated me, i felt so guilty slaying those giant beasts, its incredible to me how powerful storytelling can be.
She's Leaving is my dream, and from not knowing how to use a game engine to this, i feel is a testiment for anybody that if there's something your really passionate about, you put your mind to it and soon realise that you can actually achieve it.
Those feelings of adventure and mystery that other games had that captivated me, that's really what i want other people to feel when playing our game, that's the end goal.
